How you show up in the world

ACTIVITY 1: JOURNALING prompts

  • Where am I currently placing my energy, time and effort, formally or informally, and what realities or responsibilities are shaping those choices right now?

  • Which aspects of my work or contribution feel aligned, and which feel draining or out of sync, even if they are necessary or non-negotiable in this season?

  • If I look at this chapter with compassion rather than judgement, where am I already honouring my values in small or indirect ways, even if I cannot fully live them right now?

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY

Values in Action

Take a moment to consider what truly matters to you in how you work and contribute, within the realities of your current life.

  • Write down 3–5 values that feel alive or important to you right now.

  • For each value, notice where your current work or contribution supports it, even in small, indirect or imperfect ways.

  • Then gently notice where your actions or commitments may not reflect these values yet, and acknowledge this without judgement.

This is not about fixing your situation or making immediate changes. Some seasons require compromise, responsibility or sacrifice. This practice is simply an invitation to stay connected to what matters to you, even when full alignment isn’t possible.

Let this awareness sit with you. Direction often unfolds gradually from here.
