What you’ll need:

Five small objects from your home or garden

Your phone

Step 1 - GATHER

Gather five small objects.

They might be simple and ordinary.

A spoon, a leaf, keys, a cup, a piece of jewellery, a flower.

Step 2 - ARRANGE

Arrange them in front of you.

Play with how they sit together.

You might overlap them, line them up, group them closely or spread them out. Notice shadows, shapes and patterns.

Take a photo of your arrangement.

Step 3 - REARRANGE

Now change just one thing. Move one object, rotate it or remove it. Take another photo.

Notice how a small shift can completely change the image.

Step 4 - QUICK REFLECTION

How did your arrangement begin to feel? Did it suggest a story, a mood or a relationship between objects?

Creativity is not always about making something new. It is about seeing differently.
