WINTER SOLSTICE RITUAL

Yoga & Journaling with Sian
30 min · inner light - prakasha - rest

Journaling

1. What parts of myself only become visible in the quiet? What wisdom or truth has been trying to emerge through the darker seasons of my life?

2. What helps me feel safe enough to soften and surrender? In what ways has darkness, grief, uncertainty, or rest transformed me?

3. As I sit with the darkness, what light do I discover within myself? What small spark of hope, beauty, or joy would I like to tend through this Winter season?

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year, a natural turning point on the cosmic calendar that invites us to slow down, rest deeply, and reconnect with ourselves beneath the noise of everyday life. Across many ancient and traditional cultures, this seasonal threshold has been honoured as a time of reflection, renewal, and the quiet return of light.
Together, we’ll explore the balance of darkness and light, honouring winter not as something to resist, but as a season that asks us to soften, listen, and return to a more natural rhythm within ourselves.
