Sahasrara Chakra

The Crown Chakra

(Combined practice with Ajna)

The seventh chakra is called Sahasrara, the crown. Sahasrara means thousand fold - referring to the thousand petaled lotus which is said to awaken at the crown of the head, connecting you to the divine. The most subtle of the chakras, this divine experience of Sahasrara is beyond words and thought, connecting us to cosmic energy. When we drop in to the energy of the crown, we connect with our bliss body, Anandamaya Kosha.

How this program works

We recommend that every day you commit to:

  • The daily practice for each chakra

  • Complete the suggested practices

  • Daily chakra meditation

  • Take your time to complete the journaling prompts

Each chakra opens it’s own state of consciousness. It’s not just about yoga, it’s an experience and can be embodied in all aspects of life. Try some of the suggested other practices you can do to cleanse this chakra.

Additional Practices & Activities you can try for this Chakra

  • Meditating! This is the big one here - dedicate yourself half an hour to drop into your favourite meditation

  • The energy of the full moon can still be felt at this time. Take some time this evening to bask in the full moon light and connect deeply with the magical experience we have here own this earth.

Sahasrara Practice

Practice with Casey - 30 mins

Daily Chakra Meditation

Meditation with Sian -30 mins

Here we have included a 30minute Chakra Balancing Meditation lead by Sian which you can use over the course of the next 14 days - as many times as you like. It is one of our faves here at TLC!

Today’s practice will connect you to your third eye & crown Chakra. These two are combined as Sahasrara will often spontaneously awaken when working with Ajna.

A deep and meditative practice to awaken your intuition and connect you to the bliss body. Through focused awareness we work to move our own energy.

Take the time to journal your experience of this practice. Today we encourage you to find ways to connect to the sacred through your daily life. Meditate and withdraw from the sensory world, live deeply and with intent. Experience the magic and the wonder of the true self.

Journaling Opportunities

We encourage you through this week to become receptive and open to your own personal experience. Feel into the felt experience of each chakra and allow space for what comes up in the body and the mind. These journalling prompts are here to help you gain clarity and connect in intuitively.

  1. What makes me feel most deeply connected to the divine and how can I continue to cultivate a greater connection?

  2. What is my souls purpose? What do I feel most called to?

  3. How can I find more magic and connect to bliss in daily life?

Other Crown Chakra Practices

Over the course of your day, we invite you to take the time to also weave another practice into your day if you have the time. This will again strengthen your embodiment of each chakra and create further harmony and cleansing.
